Welcome to Module 1 - DocumentationWhen trading in domestic markets the issue of documents does not necessarily concern the contracting parties as the only documents required normally take the form of a Commercial Invoice and Packing List together with a delivery Consignment Note.
International Trade, however, extends the demand for transaction documents to cover a range of aspects relating to the transaction. Respective transactions will have their own particular documentary requirements governed by International regulations and/or standards and such as imposed by destination market authorities. The respective document will be required to provide staged documentary evidence as the transaction progresses from production to delivery and each document required will be intended to satisfy a demand that is exerted on the transaction by engaged or interested parties. |
